Sustainable partner of choice for suppliers

We aim to safeguard responsible and sustainable supply chain by promoting responsible supply chain, care for climate and community engagement.

Human rights, ethics, integrity, quality and waste management

  • We aim is to make our suppliers as ethical, ecological and efficient as possible. Suppliers are audited and need to agree, sign and fulfil the NNZ Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct stands for (not limited to): ensuring consumer safety, respecting human rights, contributing to sustainable developments and a clean environment
  • Within NNZ we are having 3 different types of audit programs (Light, Medium and Intense). Audits per central sourcing category are executed annually according to a pre-approved schedule. The NNZ Supplier Audit index score is the average score of 4 pillars: Quality – Food Safety – Health and Safety – ESG

GHG emission and climate change

  • We aim to reduce GHG emissions and climate impact per weight of materials we purchase (Scope 3 emissions material and transport) as fast and fast as possible through projects focused on (closed–loop) recycling, material replacement and transport optimization
  • Scope 3 encompasses emissions that are not produced by NNZ itself and are not the result of activities from assets owned or controlled by us, but by those that it’s indirectly responsible for up and down its value chain. An example of this is when we buy, use and dispose of products from suppliers. Scope 3 emissions include all sources not within the scope 1 and 2 boundaries.

Community engagement

  • With our community engagements in the region of our suppliers we aim to make a positive difference in one’s community that manifests itself through action, combining knowledge, skills, values and motivation.
